The Provident Bank Foundation Announces Second Cycle Signature and Impact Grant Award Winners
The Provident Bank Foundation has announced that it has selected Saint Peter’s University, Jersey City, NJ to receive its $100,000 “Signature” Grant in the Education funding priority area. In addition, the Foundation has awarded two $20,000 “Impact” Grants, one to Warren County based Abilities of Northwest New Jersey and one to Bucks County based Easter Seals of Southern Pennsylvania. read more
State Theatre
The Provident Bank Foundation , which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, has provided the State Theatre with a $7,500 grant to support the Milk & Cookies Program. This grant will help fund engaging, interactive, and diverse performances that cater to the growth and educational experience of early learners. Through this grant, the program will impact 1,700 Pre-K and elementary school children and their families with an early arts education. Music, storytelling and puppetry are a few of the many forms of acts that insist on audience participation, repetition and imitation within this presentation of live theatre. Families can enjoy this experience alongside their kids—while children enjoy milk and cookies following each performance. read more

The Provident Bank Foundation , which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, has presented a $2,500 community grant to the Easton Area Neighborhood Centers (EANC) to benefit the organization’s ASPIRE Program, a mentoring program for Easton Area School District’s pregnant and parenting teens. ASPIRE promotes the wellness of young parents and their children, enhances life skills, and emphasizes the importance of education, making the completion of high school (and ideally, the pursuit of post-secondary education) the ultimate goal of every participant. read more
